Being a member of Wikimedia Canada means being part of an organization dedicated to the growth, development, and dissemination of free knowledge in Canada.
Become a member of Wikimedia Canada
As a member, you’ll be able to attend and vote at official members’ meetings, where we decide on long-term policies and elect the Board of Directors. It is thanks to the efforts of its members that Wikimedia Canada exists.
Wikimedia Canada membership is open to any individual or organization that shares our values and objectives.
Your Wikimedia Canada membership is valid for one calendar year, from January 1st to December 31st. You can choose to become a member for one year or two. Automatic renewal is possible.
To join Wikimedia Canada, use our Zeffy portal to complete your transaction securely.
Note regarding Zeffy:
On the second page, Zeffy will ask you for a tip via a banner that says “Help keep Zeffy free for Wikimedia Canada.” This additional contribution is entirely optional; it applies only if you wish to support the Zeffy platform itself. You can click on the drop-down menu, select “Other,” and then enter “0” as shown in this screenshot.
