Job opportunity: CANCUS Hub Administrative Manager

The Wikimedia Foundation has recently approved the creation of the CANCUS (Canada, Caribbean, and U.S.) Hub. The CANCUS Hub will unify regional efforts, help bridge content gaps through targeted community engagement and training, and provide a stable and streamlined path for diverse voices to join the projects. Its mission is to develop an inclusive and self-sustaining regional ecosystem that supports the movement in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean in its efforts to increase the number of new editors in the region and retain the long-term commitment of the existing contributor base.

We are currently hiring a CANCUS Hub Administrative Manager. Reporting to Wikimedia Canada’s Executive Director, this role will be housed at Wikimedia Canada.

Time Commitment: 24 hours a week
Start Date: June 2026
Location: Remote but must be living and able to work legally in Canada. While the standard work week generally aligns with regular business hours, the role will require periodic evening and weekend work.
Compensation: $45,000 CAD a year + benefits
