Queering Wiki 2026 is a global gathering for queer contributors across Wikimedia projects and free knowledge. It is a space to connect, collaborate, and collectively advance representation and equity for queer communities within the Wikimedia ecosystem.

The 2026 edition will take place 23–25 October in Montreal, QC, bringing together participants from around the world, both within local communities and the diaspora.

Applications for the conference scholarships are now open until the 30th of April 2026!

Queering Wiki 2026 is organized by Wikimedia LGBT+ and Wikimedia Canada, with the support of Wikimedia CH and Wikimedia Deutschland
